In this article, you'll find out how to repurchase a certification once your Exam Access has expired, including the process, what to expect, and key things to keep in mind.
Why Repurchase Is Needed
Each certification includes a fixed Training Access and Exam Access period. Once the Exam Access has expired, your access cannot be reactivated and a new purchase is required to start again.
Important:
- Expired access cannot be extended once Exam Access has lapsed
- Course progress, lab data, and previous exam attempts do not carry over to a new purchase
- If you previously passed the certification, you are not eligible to repurchase it
How to Repurchase
Repurchases are handled by the Support team and not available directly through the eLearning platform.
To repurchase your certification:
- Raise a support ticket with the subject Certification Repurchase
- Include the certification name (for example, BTL1, BTL2, CJDE, CSOM)
- Include the email address linked to your eLearning account
- The team will confirm when the certification can be re-purchased
- Once payment is complete, your access will be reactivated under your existing account
What to Expect
- A repurchased certification follows the same access rules as a new purchase
- Training Access and Exam Access timers only begin once you click Start and accept the Terms and Conditions
- You'll receive two exam attempts as part of the new purchase
- Any active discounts (for example, student or service discounts) can be applied if your eligibility has already been verified on your account
